Service Description

I give speeches and/or readings combined with team teaching a speed writing lesson, or some combination thereof. Kids love these in-class sessions because they're more personal. My speeches are geared for 4th - 7th grades. My sessions typically go more or less like this: Intro: 3 minutes Visual speech about traveling: 8 minutes (Who doesn't like a vacation? :) Chat about the power of being able to see words (imagination=travel): 4 minutes Q&A Read a chapter from one of the Crime Travelers books: 9 minutes The remainder of the time: More Questions! And of course, a set of books for the teacher.
